Gullane Village Association

Gullane Village Association aims to:

  • promote community participation amongst, and to encourage good working relationships between all the village’s community clubs, societies and groups;
  • encourage the preservation and the improvement of Gullane and its unique natural, historic and ecological features;
  • and to consider all matters of concern to Gullane residents to support the development and retention of communal areas and facilities, and to make representations as appropriate. .

What is the Children’s Activity Fund?

The Children’s Activity Fund (CAF) is an Area Partnership funded programme giving children aged 0-12yrs the chance to take part, experience a range of activities, be active, connect with others and enjoy the best that East Lothian has to offer.

CAF received £12000 to develop holiday and term time activities that will provide fund opportunities, especially to those most adversely affected by low income and the Cost-of-Living Crisis.

Who is eligible for funded places?

We are pleased to be able to offer full and partial funded places at many activities for children aged 0-12 years to priority families in the area.

The eligibility criteria for funded places (subject to availability and funds available) are:


  • Families in receipt of benefits and low-income families.
  • Children with additional support needs.
  • Those who are care experienced or are young carers.
  • Those in receipt of an access to leisure card.


Funded places are available by referral only. If your child meets the above criteria, and you have not already received a referral, please contact Katie on the details below for further information.

Organisers will do their very best to accommodate the need of every child. However, please ensure you contact you contact them prior to booking a session to discuss your child’s specific requirements.


Are there any activities available for my baby or pre-school child?

Activities suitable for younger children include:

  • Music with Jackie, Enjoy-a-ball, Rugby Tots, Elite Taekwondo, Stay and Play and many other sessions available throughout the year.
